What is a Gear Reducer Anyway?
Gear reducers play a vital role in mechanical power transmission, converting input energy to the torque required for output machinery. They're composed of a shell with a gear shaft, an operating wheel with an input shaft, and an output shaft. Gear reducers are widely utilized across various industries, including aviation, industrial machinery, and electric power.
In gearboxes, the Wheel and Axle and/or the Screw (worm reducer) are typically used to gain a mechanical advantage and make the system more efficient. Rather than using Variable Frequency Drives to adjust the specific revolution per minute (RPM) of a motor, gear reducers provide a specific gearing arrangement that increases torque and output speed.
For instance, a 10:1 gear reducer connected to a motor turning at 1800 RPM outputs 180 RPM with a torque rating of 255 lb.ft. (assuming an efficiency rating of 85%). This mechanism is ideal for conveyors that require specific running speeds to transport materials from one location to another.

For standard catalogue products, the MOQ is 1 piece — we welcome both sample and bulk orders. For custom-engineered or OEM products, MOQ varies by product type and will be confirmed at the quotation stage.

Yes. Samples are available for most standard products. Sample cost is charged at the normal unit price plus shipping. Once you proceed to a confirmed bulk order, the sample cost is credited back against your order total.
We accept T/T (bank transfer), L/C (for orders above USD 5,000), Western Union and PayPal for smaller orders. Standard terms are 30% deposit on order confirmation and 70% balance before shipment.

All products carry a 12-month warranty from the date of shipment against defects in materials and workmanship under normal operating conditions. In the event of a valid claim, we supply replacement parts or a replacement unit at no charge. Warranty does not cover damage caused by improper installation, overloading or lack of maintenance.

We ship worldwide from Hangzhou, China. Options include sea freight (FCL / LCL), air freight and express courier (DHL, FedEx, UPS). We can ship on DDP, CIF, FOB Ningbo / Shanghai or EXW terms. Urgent orders can be dispatched by air or express within 24 hours of production completion.
All gearboxes and mechanical components are treated with anti-rust oil, wrapped in protective film and placed in wooden cases or reinforced cartons lined with foam. Shaft ends and mounting surfaces are fitted with protective caps. Export-standard packaging is used for all international shipments as standard.
Absolutely. Factory visits are welcome by appointment. Our facility is in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, approximately 1 hour from Shanghai by high-speed rail.
